Frequently asked questions

How do Nigerian schools calculate student positions automatically?+
Acadra computes student positions using standard competition ranking — the same method used by most Nigerian schools. When two students share the same total score, they receive the same position and the next student's rank skips accordingly (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th). This happens automatically as soon as scores are entered. No formulas, no manual sorting.
Can Acadra generate report cards automatically?+
Yes. Once results are approved by the admin, Acadra generates professional Nigerian-style report cards for every student in a class instantly. Each report card includes subject scores (CA and exam), total, grade, remark, class position, teacher comment, and principal remark. They are print-ready the same day.
Can private primary and secondary schools use Acadra?+
Acadra is built specifically for Nigerian private primary and secondary schools — including nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools, and combined primary-secondary schools. The platform handles multi-level structures and different grading systems commonly used across Nigerian private schools.
How long does it take to set up Acadra for my school?+
Most schools are fully operational within a day. You register your school, import your students from an existing Excel file, add your teachers, and assign classes. Our support team is available via WhatsApp throughout the entire process.
Does Acadra work for schools with multiple classes and arms?+
Yes. Acadra supports multi-arm class structures — for example JSS 1A, JSS 1B, JSS 2A — and allows you to assign different subject teachers to each class. Results and positions are computed per class, not across the entire school.
What happens if a teacher enters a wrong score?+
Scores can be corrected before the admin approves the result. Acadra has a result approval workflow: teachers submit results, and the admin reviews and approves before anything is published or printed. If an error is caught after approval, the admin can re-open the result for correction. Every change is logged in the audit trail.
How much does Acadra cost for Nigerian schools?+
